Can a highschool teacher tell me to take my hat off?

Im a senior in highschool,its winter and extremley cold.Personally I am very sensitive to the cold and ALWAYS wear a beanie.Then in a certain class(where btw there is no heating)The teacher always tells us to take our hats off.IDK why and it wasn't a big deal at first but now it really bugging me.Is he allowed to make us take our hats off?
