I'm buying a beanie and it has lambs wool on it so I was just wondering...?

Is lambs wool soft? It says that this beanie is Lambs wool, but then it says poly/cotton, but whatever, I was just wondering if lambs wool was soft, and if the outside of the beanie would have the lambs wool.
